Domestic Abuse Strategy

Bedford Borough Council wishes to develop a Domestic Abuse Strategy to create a society in Bedford Borough where domestic abuse is not tolerated, and to reduce the level and impact of incidents in the Council area.

To do this, we want to create a framework with shared definitions, understanding and action points. It will allow agencies to co-ordinate and collaborate to ensure that women and children and all those affected by domestic abuse will receive better protection and support and challenge and prevent incidents.
