Domestic Abuse Strategy
Bedford Borough Council wishes to develop a Domestic Abuse
Strategy to create a society in Bedford Borough where domestic
abuse is not tolerated, and to reduce the level and impact of
incidents in the Council area.

definitions, understanding and action points. It will allow
agencies to co-ordinate and collaborate to ensure that women and
children and all those affected by domestic abuse will receive
better protection and support and challenge and prevent
