Health & Wellbeing Strategy

Please note that this consultation has now closed

The Bedford Borough Health and Wellbeing Board was established in 2011.  It is a statutory board of the Local Authority and Clinical Commissioning Group with responsibility for building strong and effective partnerships, which improve the planning and delivery of services across the NHS and local government, leading to improved health and wellbeing for local people.

Underpinning the work of the Health & Wellbeing Board is the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy. We are consulting on a new strategy and would like to invite you to have your say.

You can view the draft strategy here

To ensure the strategy represents a true reflection of local needs and priorities it is essential that we listen to and take on board the views of a range of stakeholders, including local residents, business owners, elected representatives, and third sector and statutory partners.

What happens next?

Responses will be considered by members of the Bedford Borough Health and Wellbeing Board on conclusion of the consultation period. The strategy will then be taken to the Board for approval for implementation in June 2018. A copy of the consultation report will be available on this website and hard copies will be available on request.
