Improvement works to the Allhallows Public Conveniences, are now
complete. The toilets, which are accessible immediately adjacent to
the multi-storey car park’s main access stairwell, located in
Greenhill Street adjacent to the bus station, are now much improved
in both their appearance and functionality.

to the gents and ladies toilets being overlain with a hard-wearing
easy clean resin flooring.
The laminate faced vanity unit in the ladies,
which housed four stainless steel hand wash basins, have been
replaced with a unit with a new proprietary ‘vandal resistant’
solid surface vanity top and inset bowls together with new
non-concussive taps to limit water waste.
Both the gents and ladies toilets have been
thoroughly cleaned to remove all engrained dirt and the ladies area
redecorated using an anti-graffiti coating – which has also been
applied to all existing walls, ceilings, timber doors, frames,
architraves and linings.
The air ventilation system has also been
repaired and is now in full working order.
