Poll Card

                                                                         MAKE YOUR VOTES COUNT

Look out for your poll card

On Thursday 7 May this year, Bedford Borough will be a very special place to be. We’ll have up to five different elections taking place – which means more ballot papers than anywhere else in the country.

In order for people to make sure their votes count, they need to have received their poll cards. For anyone that has not got their poll card, they can inform the Borough Council via www.bedford.gov.uk/elections2015

Philip Simpkins, Chief Executive at Bedford Borough Council, said: “We are working hard to make sure the process is as simple and straight-forward as possible. It’s important to remind people to look out for their poll card and check the detail on it, that way, they will be  equipped to vote.”

Please also note, for those voting by post, postal votes will be delivered around 20th April. When individuals vote, either with a postal vote or in person, on 7 May, they will be given separate ballot papers for each of these elections and these include information on how to complete them.

Information on the elections and links to the election timetable, applications to register to vote, and to change current voting arrangements, are all available at www.bedford.gov.uk/elections2015
