New Bus for Route 25!
New Vehicle for Bus Route 25 as Customer Growth Spikes
One of Bedford borough’s rural bus services;
the number 25 route, is set to receive a brand new bus as customer
numbers have grown. The brand new Dennis Enviro, which includes
colour-coordinated leather seating, three-point seat belts and CCTV
cameras, is both low on emissions and provides economical fuel
The £124,000 investment has been made by Grant
Palmer to ensure increased passenger demand is being catered
The Dennis Enviro will transport passengers
between Bedford and Sharnbrook, Harrold, Stevington, Oakley and
Clapham from Wednesday 12th August, making its debut at
Grant Palmer, owner and Managing Director of
the Bedfordshire-based bus company said “The new bus is being
brought in to show residents of the rural service that they are
just as important to us as bus users travelling across Bedford
town. The new bus, which is the best in its class, will ensure
passengers reach their destination comfortably, safely and in
Mayor or Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson said: “We are delighted to
help introduce the new bus on Route 25, alongside Grant Palmer, in
response to the increased demand for this key rural service. This
investment has come at a great time and will enable comfortable,
safe and reliable transport to be provided for users all along the
route between Sharnbrook and Bedford.”
