A-Levels

A-Level Results Are In!

Students and staff are celebrating exam success across Bedford Borough today, with provisional figures showing that 78% of our students have achieved 3 or more A*-E grades at A-level.

These results were awarded at a time of significant reform to A-Level and AS qualifications and this was the first year of award for the reformed A-levels.

Councillor Henry Vann, Portfolio Holder for Education said: "Congratulations to all students in Bedford Borough receiving their results today and good luck for your next steps whatever they may be. A huge thanks must also go to the parents, carers, teachers, schools, governors, families and communities who have supported you and helped you achieve.”

Any students who would like to talk through their next steps and gain professional advice can contact the UCAS hotline on 03714 680468 or online at http://www.ucas.com/.

There is also support available for students who are disappointed with their results at the Jobs Hub, which provides advice about education and training options, help with skills, and job search assistance, and can be contacted on 01234 223510 or the.jobshub@bedford.gov.uk.

The Jobs Hub is funded by the Bedford Borough Partnership and Jobcentre Plus and is located at 15 Greyfriars in Bedford.
