Free Parking in Bedford town centre

Multi-Storey and Surface car parks across Bedford will be open for free after 3pm, from 5th December.

The week long local trader backed initiative aims to make it even easier for residents and visitors to the town to park and shop in the run up to Christmas.

Free parking will be available at the following Bedford Borough Council car parks as part of the initiative which is funded by Bedford:BID:

  • Lurke Street,
  • River Street,
  • Allhallows
  • Queen Street
  • Riverside Square
  • St Peters Street
  • Melbourne Street
  • Duckmill Lane

The move comes in the run up to Bedford’s Victorian Christmas Fair, which hopes to once again bring record numbers of shoppers to the town.
