MORE GREAT CHILDCARE AWARDED

The annual celebration evening for Bedford Training and Assessment Centre (BTAC) took place at Borough Hall recently.  At the event the Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, awarded learners with their BTAC qualification certificates.

BTAC deliver qualifications for those working in the Early Years, teaching assistants, play-workers or social care sectors.

The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, said: “Skilled professionals in this field are hugely important, they go on to impact greatly on young peoples’ lives. We have a dedicated team of individuals who put everything in to ensuring they are the best they can be, so at to maximise their effectiveness and deliver the positive outcomes required.”

Cllr Sue Oliver, Executive Member for Children’s Social Care said: “Our aims is to support better outcomes for children and young people by raising the standard of the workforce through quality information, advice and guidance, support, and training. Such qualifications and development activities impact on the future performance of settings.”
