Committee to consider current provision of public conveniences
At the request of Full Council, the Environment and Sustainable
Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee is to consider the
current provision of public conveniences in Bedford Borough,
particularly in the town centre.
The review will be considering the provision of public
conveniences and their locations. The Committee will meet
on Thursday 28th February at 6.30pm in Committee Room 1 of Borough
Hall. Interested parties are invited to attend and share
their views with members of the committee.
Councillor Tim Hill, vice-chair of the Environment and
Sustainable Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee, said: “The
role of the scrutiny committee is to review the Council’s policies
and ensure it makes the best decisions for local people.
“This will be your chance to participate in an open discussion
where you can share your views and ideas on public conveniences in
Bedford with members of the Committee.”
