Planned temporary shutdown of IT services on Saturday
29th and Sunday 30th January 2011.
ICT will be co-ordinating a planned shutdown of Council IT
services including the website, intranet and email system this
This is because of a statutory requirement for the electrical
infrastructure which supports our IT systems to be tested once
every five years.
To minimise inconvenience as much as possible, the shutdown
period will take place overnight, starting at 6pm on Saturday 29th
All services will be restored by Midday on Sunday 30th
Please note that any in coming emails sent during this
outage will be received when systems are back online, although
senders may receive notification emails stating that the message
sending was delayed.
