Town Hall Bursts with Colour

Wednesday 21st July 2010

Bedford Borough Council’s Town Hall doors will be bursting open with talent from Monday 26th July as the building hosts an exhibition that celebrates the best of local sixth form art colleges.

Throughout June and July, sixth form students held their own exhibitions in their individual schools and colleges. The level of artwork was so high that people who attended the events also had the opportunity to purchase some of the pieces.

Now the students will be coming together to showcase their work in the Town Hall for one week only, from Monday 26th July at 9am – 5pm until Friday 30th July, which closes a little earlier at 4.45pm.

The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson said: “We are delighted to be showcasing the work of talented local sixth formers in the Town Hall, and I am looking forward to seeing the pieces on display. The quality of the work is very impressive and we are keen that as many people as possible are able to see the results of local students’ talent and hard work.”
