Calling all businesses!
Bedford Borough businesses are being encouraged to take part in
an on-line survey to help build an accurate picture of local
business needs and ensure the Council and others can target support
even more effectively.
The survey, which will take place over the next few weeks, has been
commissioned alongside Central Bedfordshire and Luton Borough
Councils, and will provide an insight into local businesses across
Bedfordshire. The results from the survey will provide valuable
information about the local economy and highlight key issues facing
A sample of 250 businesses in Bedford Borough will be contacted by
phone to pick up their views. However, Bedford Borough Council is
also asking all local businesses to fill in the online version of
the survey to provide a fuller range of responses so the Council
can tailor its support even better.
Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, said: “We are urging
local businesses to get in touch so that we can build an accurate
picture of how the local economy is doing and how we can work
together to improve it.
“In the next few weeks some businesses in the borough will be
contacted for their views but we also need businesses to contact
us. The online survey is available from the council homepage until
Sunday 19th June. Armed with this information we will be even
better placed to target support to where it is most needed,
maximising the benefits to the borough.”
