Referendum on the United
Kingdom’s Membership of the European Union
will open at 7AM and close at 10PM on 23rd
British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens aged
18 or over who are resident in the UK or Gibraltar will be eligible
to vote. UK citizens resident overseas will also be eligible to
vote, provided they have been registered to vote at a UK address in
the last 15 years.
You can vote at your local polling station on Thursday 23 June.

Registered voters who are entitled to vote in this referendum
will be issued with a ballot paper which asks the questions should
the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or
leave the European Union.
You don’t need your poll card to vote but if you lose or don’t
receive it you can contact Bedford Borough Council on 01234
276916 to find out where your polling station is.
If you applied to vote by post, you will need
to return your completed ballot paper in the envelope supplied to
reach us by 10pm on 23 June 2016 in order for your
vote to be counted. Postal votes for Bedford Borough can be handed
in to any Bedford Borough polling station up until 10pm on the 23

Count processes will be carried out overnight, starting at the
close of poll, at 10pm.

extra time to get to your polling station and vote in the
