8th March 2010

The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, has announced details of his regular surgery sessions, and is encouraging residents to come along and talk to him directly about matters relating to their Borough.

The ‘walk-up’ surgeries are open to all, and will taking place on the first Saturday of every month at Village Halls and Supermarket Foyers around the Borough, while by-appointment sessions will take place on the second Tuesday of the month at Borough Hall. The next sessions are on Saturday 3rd April, 10.00am – 12Noon at Tesco in Cardington Road and Saturday 1st May, 10.00am – 12Noon at Budgens in Bromham.

Dave Hodgson, Mayor of Bedford Borough said: “I want to encourage people to come along and let me know what’s on their mind, whether it be specific Council-related matters, or ideas for improving the Borough. This is a key part of the drive to open up the Council to local residents, and I look forward to these opportunities to speak to individuals directly about any issues they want to raise.”

If you would like to attend a Borough Hall surgery session, please contact the Mayor’s Secretary on 01234 718620 to make an appointment.
