HEALTHIER TOGETHER– SCRUTINY COMMITTEE

The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (JHOSC) for ‘Healthier Together’ will be holding its next meeting on 11th March, at 2.30pm, in the Council Chamber, at Luton Town Hall.

All JHOSC meetings are open to the public.

The meeting will consider the recent decisions by the Healthier Together Programme Board about its future plans, as well as the outcomes from its clinical work and public engagement.

The JHOSC is made up of councillors from Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton Borough Council, Milton Keynes Council and Northamptonshire County Council, and has been involved in scrutinising the work of Healthier Together since it began in 2012.

Cllr John Mingay, Chair of the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, said: “The JHOSC has followed Healthier Together’s progress in its public engagement and the development of its early clinical workstreams, and is keen to hear from the Programme Board about what will happen next.”

Councillors will be joined by LINks representatives from the South East Midlands to consider what has happened to date and future steps.

As stated previously, all JHOSC meetings are open to the public, and committee papers are available online on all 5 Council websites.
