HEALTHIER TOGETHER– SCRUTINY
The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny
Committee (JHOSC) for ‘Healthier Together’ will be
holding its next meeting on 11th March, at 2.30pm, in
the Council Chamber, at Luton Town Hall.
All JHOSC meetings are open to the public.
The meeting will consider the recent decisions
by the Healthier Together Programme Board about its future plans,
as well as the outcomes from its clinical work and public
The JHOSC is made up of councillors from
Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton
Borough Council, Milton Keynes Council and Northamptonshire County
Council, and has been involved in scrutinising the work of
Healthier Together since it began in 2012.
Cllr John Mingay, Chair of the Joint Health
Overview and Scrutiny Committee, said: “The JHOSC has followed
Healthier Together’s progress in its public engagement and the
development of its early clinical workstreams, and is keen to hear
from the Programme Board about what will happen next.”
Councillors will be joined by LINks
representatives from the South East Midlands to consider what has
happened to date and future steps.
As stated previously, all JHOSC meetings are
open to the public, and committee papers are available online on
