Dave Hodgson re-elected as Mayor of Bedford Borough

Dave Hodgson has been re-elected Mayor following the Borough wide Mayoral election on 5th May 2011.

As Bedford Borough’s directly elected Mayor he will head the Council, have considerable decision-making power and will represent the borough at a local and national level.

The Mayor officially took office on Monday 9th May. He will appoint a cabinet of elected members to assist him. The term in office lasts until May 2015.

Dave Hodgson was first elected Mayor of Bedford Borough in October 2009.
