‘FOSTERS A LOVE OF LEARNING’
Another Bedford Borough school recently judged
by Ofsted to be good is Newnham Middle School.
Ofsted’s two-day inspection on the school was
carried out with one day’s notice on 15 – 16 October.
Inspectors gathered, and evaluated, a
wide-range of evidence and each category assessed; Achievement of
Pupils, Quality of Teaching, Behaviour and Safety of Pupils, and
Leadership and Management, was awarded a good grade.
It was reported ‘pupils are making good
progress throughout the school. It is particularly fast in Years 7
Ofsted confirmed that ‘teaching programmes
are well-planned and sustain pupils’ interest and foster a love of
