A Christmas Carol

Librarian Theatre Performs ‘A Christmas Carol’

Bedford Central Library

 2 – 3.30pm, 3rd December

Adults £6 – Concessions/Children/Students £3

Community theatre group Librarian Theatre returns to Bedford Central Library this winter with a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story A Christmas Carol; using puppetry and audience interaction to bring the timeless tale to life.

The production re-imagines the character of Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, as a woman, played by Sarah Ratheram.

Librarian Theatre was founded by friends Kelly Eva-May & Tom Cuthbertson with the aim of supporting public libraries across the country. The non-for-profit organisation works alongside public libraries to deliver accessible, affordable, professional theatre to local communities; and to promote reading and literacy.

The production takes place at Bedford Central Library on 3rd December between 2-3.30pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available from Bedford Central Library or http://www.librariantheatre.com/. The production is suitable for adults and children over six.
