Apple Day 2016
Bromham Mill and Gallery hosts their hugely popular annual Apple
Day, on Sunday 16th October, from 11am - 4pm.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the event which
celebrates all things apple related. Bromham Mill’s ‘Café at the
Mill’ will be offering a range of cakes, alongside a hog roast and
stalls selling everything from jams and chutneys to fudge and
pumpkins, and of course apples! Craft stalls from the Handmade in
Bedford market and numerous local wildlife stalls, such as
Bedfordshire Bee keepers and the Raptor Foundation will also be in
A range of entertainment will be on offer throughout the day
including musical performances, the Bedford Morris Men, a sheep dog
demonstration, and Cyril the Racing Squirrel.
Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson said: ‘Apple Day is a
great event for all ages, which attracts thousands of visitors from
across Bedford Borough and further afield. There is so much on

Bromham Park is managing and operating a car park at the rear of
the meadow with parking charged at £3 per car.
