Apple Day 2016

Bromham Mill and Gallery hosts their hugely popular annual Apple Day, on Sunday 16th October, from 11am - 4pm.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the event which celebrates all things apple related. Bromham Mill’s ‘Café at the Mill’ will be offering a range of cakes, alongside a hog roast and stalls selling everything from jams and chutneys to fudge and pumpkins, and of course apples! Craft stalls from the Handmade in Bedford market and numerous local wildlife stalls, such as Bedfordshire Bee keepers and the Raptor Foundation will also be in attendance.

A range of entertainment will be on offer throughout the day including musical performances, the Bedford Morris Men, a sheep dog demonstration, and Cyril the Racing Squirrel.

Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson said: ‘Apple Day is a great event for all ages, which attracts thousands of visitors from across Bedford Borough and further afield. There is so much on offer this year - it really is fantastic day out for all the family!’

Entry into Apple Day is £5 for adults and £3 for children. Bromham Park is managing and operating a car park at the rear of the meadow with parking charged at £3 per car.
