I  would like to know the following information as it applies in the financial year 2015-2016:
1. Please tell me your standard charges (assuming that the client is paying full price, having over £23,250 capital) for the following domiciliary services to those aged over 65:
a. Personal care (e.g. getting up, washing, getting dressed etc) – hourly rate.
b. Domestic help (e.g. shopping, laundry etc.) - hourly rate(s).
c. Home care services (e.g. cleaning curtains, turning mattresses, repairs and gardening) – hourly rate(s)
d. Meals (at home or at a day care centre - please state both prices if they are different) - flat rate per meal.
e. Transport (round trip to day care centre and back).
f. Careline/Telecare (or similar telephone-based alarm service) - per week. Please include/tell us of any installation costs.
If you do not charge in the way I have suggested above, please can you state the charge in the way it is usually described to those eligible, from your authority, for domiciliary care – again, assuming their capital and income levels mean they pay the full price.
2. Does your authority operate a weekly cap on charges per individual? If so, please confirm the cap(s) in place for the financial year for 2015-2016.
3. If someone requires transport to get to a day centre, would your authority normally consider this as part of that person’s assessed needs, such that it becomes part of the package for consideration within the means test?

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, the authority must state whether or not the information exists and I confirm that we do hold the information you requested.

How your allocations scheme has changed over time.

Please see attached

Please contact freedomofinformation@bedford.gov.uk for a copy of the attachment

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, the authority must state whether or not the information exists and I confirm that we do hold some of the information you requested

Introduction

The Housing Act 1996 required every local housing authority to have an allocation scheme for allocating housing. This requirement has been retained in subsequent legislation (Housing Act 2002 and Localism Act 2011), although the discretion that authorities have had in determining the contents of their schemes has varied over time.

As part of some research HACT is undertaking for the University of Birmingham, we are seeking to understand how your authority has used its powers to vary its allocations scheme over time. We would be grateful if you could answer some questions to provide information on how your allocations scheme has changed over time.

We intend to make the information provided in this questionnaire available more widely, but will not publish the contact details of the person completing the survey without explicit permission, unless required to by law.

On each sheet, you should be able to record most of the information using the yellow boxes alone. If you would like to provide additional commentary, please provide it in the orange boxes.

The DateOfChanges sheet requests that the dates be provided in order (most recent first).

On each of the 'change' sheets (Change1, Change2 and Change3), each of the yellow boxes has its valid answers defined as a set of options. You should select the relevant answer from the drop-down list.

If you have any queries, please contact jim.vine@hact.org.uk.

2.For the financial year 2014/15, the amount of money it was expected to cost to rebuild, repair or maintain state schools in your local authority

Answer:

The budget for maintenance of maintained schools for 2014/2015 was £5.5 million.  During the year the Council was able to undertake additional works to remove temporary classrooms, and identified further funding for this purpose and the actual spend in year totalled £6.8 million.  There was no shortfall between the amount schools maintenance was expected to cost, and the amount budgeted.

3b. Most solutions will provide alerts when it comes to malware detections, may you inform me of the number of alerts your solutions have provided, by solution.
These alerts should be held on a database which provides a high degree of granularity in recording the causes of the alerts.
3b.2 May you provide me with a copy of this granular information – preferably in spreadsheet format – for the period covering the last twelve months, or shorter if not applicable.
