European Parliamentary Election 2014

THE EASTERN REGION DECLARATION AS A MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

 

The European Parliamentary Election will take place on 22 May 2014.  Electors in the Borough of Bedford will vote for their MEP for the Eastern Region of the United Kingdom.  The Regional Returning Officer for the Eastern Region is the Chief Executive of Chelmsford Borough Council.

Deadline for the notification of appointment of national election agents/election agents

Deadline for making objections to nomination papers or lists of candidates of registered political parties 12 noon to 5pm on Thursday 24 April 2014 for nominations delivered after 4pm on Wednesday 23 April.             10am to 12 noon on Thursday 24 April 2014 for all previously delivered nominations

Publication of statement of parties, and individual candidates nominated, including notice of poll
