Until recently our Ceremonies Room was used as the
Council's Chamber for meetings and mayoral functions. The hall has
a rich history which is reflected in its fabric and the hall's
original period features have been lovingly restored as part of the
recent refurbishment. Windows to both sides of the room allow for
plenty of natural light, and the shields and heraldry of the
stained glass windows add a gentle touch of colour.
The Mayor's Dias at the top of the aisle boasts a newly
upholstered love-seat where you can stand out from the crowd with
your all-important just-married pictures.
