Young Commissioners Project

Bedford Borough Council is pleased to announce the launch of the Young Commissioners Project and Short Breaks Services Grants programme.
The Young Commissioners project is being managed by LINK Vice Versa who as a group of young people with and without disabilities aim to improve commissioned services for children and young people with disabilities through effective service user involvement.

Short Breaks Services Grants Programme

The Young Commissioners Project is overseeing the delivery of the Short Breaks Services Grants Programme.
Children and young people with disabilities, aged 0-17, who live in Bedford Borough are able to apply for a Short Breaks Services Grant either as an individual, or as a group to support access to Short Breaks Services.

Please return completed applications to: Hanna Castle, Engagement & Development Team, Bedford Borough Council, Borough Hall, 5th Floor, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP, or email to: hanna.castle@bedford.gov.uk.

The closing dates for applications are Thursday 7th February at 5pm and Thursday 28th February at 5pm.  We will be in touch after these dates to inform you whether you have been successful in your application.
