Safeguarding in Schools

We are committed to keeping children and young people safe.  All agencies have a responsibility to make arrangements for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people with whom they work.  Through multi-agency working, The Bedford Borough Local Safeguarding Board, together with its partners, has developed systems and guidance to enable all schools to develop and follow the correct procedures.

They provide ongoing support and training to make sure that staff and volunteers who work with children and young people are doing the right things to make them safe.
