Rural Bulky Waste Services
The Rural Bulky Waste Collection Service is provided to all
43 Parish Councils in Bedford Borough. A refuse lorry and an
open bed skip is provided, in to which residents may dispose
of domestic bulky waste.
The service visits each Parish once a year and the duration of
stay is dependent upon the Parish population. Your Parish Council
should display the collection dates about a week in advance.

Important Information: 2017 Skip Locations and Dates
Following a consultation the Council now operates one placement
per year for the rural bulky waste collection service. This
commenced in April 2012.

chemicals as well as general domestic rubbish. For
