Education Support

Education Support Service provides careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to young people aged 16-19 (or up to 25 for those with special educational needs).

We have a responsibility to track and monitor all young people up to the age of 20, which means that young people are likely to hear from us if they are not engaged in education, employment or training (NEET).  We can provide young people with advice and information on the various opportunities available to them, such as school 6th form, college, apprenticeship, employment and other training options.

In particular, Education Support Service is responsible for ensuring that all young people who fall under the new Raising of the Participation Age (RPA) guidelines are fully participating until the age of 18.
