Health and Wellbeing Board
Bedford Borough Health and Wellbeing Board was set up in
2011. It has a statutory responsibility to improve
integrated working between local health care, social care, public
health and other public service practitioners so that patients and
service users experience more joined-up care,
particularly when moving between health and social care.
The Health and Wellbeing Board is also responsible for
leading locally on reducing health inequalities.
Better Care Plan
The Health and Wellbeing Board is currently considering the
updated Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Bedford
Borough Council Better Care Plan. The full document is
available on the panel to the right. If you have any comments
on the Plan as a stakeholder or member of the public, please email
the Health and Wellbeing Board here
The Plan was signed off by the Board on 15th
September 2014 for submission to NHS England and the Local
Government Association.
