Bedford Counselling and Training

Bedford Counselling and Training is a local charity providing safe, affordable, confidential  and professional counselling to those in need in Bedford and surrounding areas. Our service is for adults (18+). We aim to help anyone who is troubled, or suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, relationship or other life difficulties. Our counselling enables people to understand themselves better and work through their problems. Payment is based on personal circumstances, and the number of sessions can be either open-ended or shorter-term. When you contact us, you will be offered an assessment appointment, following which we will agree with you if we can help, and allocate an appropriate counsellor, or suggest a suitable alternative.

All our counsellors are fully trained and qualified.  We adhere to the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Code of Ethics and guidelines for clinical practice.
