Amicus Trust Ltd

Provides supported accommodation to males and females aged 16-65 across eight projects within Bedford and the Central Beds area.  Each resident is supported by an individual key-worker to combat the reasons of their homelessness with the support of an education and employment team (Stepping Stones) funded by The Big Lottery and dedicated mental health provision (Progress in Mind) . Within the projects are two specialist Veteran accommodations services.    

Amicus Trust also offers sheltered housing provision for the over 50’s, and a Training and Advice Centre which has training space available for hire.

Referral

For accommodation: please contact Central Office.  Applicants will be interviewed prior to an offer of a room being made.  For Stepping Stones Project: An Initial Enquiry Form should be completed which can be obtained from our Central Office.

 

Availability

  • Central Office is open for enquiries Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm)
  • Stepping Stones Project is open Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm).
  • Progress in Mind is open Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm).
  • Supported accommodations are staffed from 8.00am - 9.00pm weekdays and from 11.30am - 7.30pm on weekends.
  • Training and Advice Centre is open Monday - Friday (9.30am – 4.30pm). Saturday (9.00am – 1.00pm)
