Bedford Borough Council Shared Lives
Shared Lives Bedford is a service that
works with adults with support needs to assist them to access
greater everyday life opportunities within the local community.
The underpinning
philosophy in Shared Lives is about "Sharing home and family
life" through the use of appropriate and suitable Shared Lives
Carers.
Shared Lives
Bedford achieves this by recruiting, training and supporting people
to become Shared Lives Carers and working alongside people with
support needs to identify the most suitable Shared Lives Carer
match for them, their individual needs and aspirations.
