Jobs Hub Shopfront

Who can access The Jobs Hub and what support & advice can we offer?

The Jobs Hub is staffed by a team of highly trained professionals who can offer bespoke help and advice to residents of all ages.  Services include:

  • Individual help with CVs, job applications and interviews
  • Access to job vacancies and Internet Access for job searching
  • Advice about education and training, including apprenticeships
  • Business start-up workshops and enterprise coaching
  • Appointments with the National Careers Service
  • Access to funded skills training – accredited and non-accredited
  • Help to access volunteering, mentoring and work experience opportunities
  • Linking to other partner services to help with specific issues, such as housing, health, benefit or debt advice
  • A monthly events calendar covering a range of topics as requested by customers (e.g. apprenticeship briefings, business start-up workshops, employer talks)


Still In full time education?

For advice on the Raising Participation Age (RPA) please follow this link. If you wish to have a 1-2-1 appointment with one of our advisers we will be able to make you an appointment but we will be obliged to make the local authority aware that you are no longer participating and the local authority will contact your previous school who may be in contact with you to offer support.
