Russell Park new play equipment

It's February and the new play equipment in Russell Park is now taking shape...

Two new large multi-play units for children from toddlers to tens are currently under construction in Russell Park. Begun in January, and despite battling against the wet and windy weather, the equipment is starting to take shape. A few days have been lost due to weather and ground conditions but it's hoped that children will be enjoying the new pieces by the end of February.

Funded by contributions from developers, the two pieces are replacing two popular but aging play units and will make a big difference to the site, bringing exciting new features and lots of play value. Click on the downloads below to view the supplier's sketches and visuals which give more idea of what it will be like. Some small adjustments may need to be made in the course of construction but they give a good impression of the slides, climbing features and play panels which will keep visiting children very busy.
